Bakery Combinations was born and founded in June 2003 by founder John van Heusden. With a passion for baking, John initially began importing superior bakery equipment from leading Dutch manufacturers.

Soon after inception, furthermore opportunities arose which resulted in the expansion of the Bakery Combinations portfolio. As such, other world-class European brands came onboard such as; Sancassiano S.P.A, Koenig Maschinen, MIWE GmbH, Technosilos, Tecnopool, Mecatherm and Niverplast. Collectively, these brands remain a benchmark staple in the company’s range today.

Over the years, Bakery Combinations has earned a dependable reputation amongst the biggest bakeries in the Australasia region, and through reputation, their presence has been sought after with demand in a variety of growing countries. The company presented itself as a trustworthy partner providing sound advice and turnkey solutions to facilitate growth, and diversification for its customers – always in close cooperation with leading equipment suppliers.

Bakery Combinations has experienced immense growth over the years, from humble beginnings as a one-man band operation, to today, the organsiation is established with offices located in Australia and New Zealand. Each member of the team is dedicated to providing sound advice on equipment solutions, which range from straightforward standalone machines to complex industrial production lines for a wide variety of baked and frozen goods.

In August 2019, Bakery Combinations made a strategic decision to put larger focus on the Artisan and Craft segment of the market. As such, the company significantly invested in various areas of the business to meet demand. This included the recruitment of additional members to the sales team and customer service departments to serve the evolving changes of the business.
